V Rising: How to upload your Save Game

1. Stop your Server

2. Head over to the world1 folder located in /container/save-data/Saves/v4

If your server runs the 1.0 Version the saves are located in v3 instead of 4

3. Delete or Archive all Files

If you mark all files (except the TEMP. folder) and archive them, you can download the archive and use the map locally.

4. Find your Local Save Game. Depending if you have Cloud Save active or not it should be in the following direction:
   Cloud Save:
   Users\"User"\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\CloudSaves\"Steam ID"\v3

   
   Local Save:
   Users\”User”\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising

Replace “User” with your User name and “Steam ID” with your Steam 64 ID

The Date modified can give you a hint which save game is which.

5. Enter the Save Game folder and find the latest AutoSave.save.gz

6. Drag the AutoSave.save.gz into your world1 folder which you cleared in Step 2.

And that’s how you upload your local save file to your dedicated V Rising Server!
